Alexandrina Milkshake Series
Our Alexandrina Caramello Milkshake is made with Alexandrina Full Cream Pure Jersey Milk, it can be served chilled in a fancy glass for an after dinner treat on any evening, or use an insulated tumbler if you are off to the beach for a morning walk. You may booze-it-up with your South Australian spirit of choice, but it is also delicious simply served with a couple of Cadbury’s Caramello Koala’s on the side of the glass. Our Alexandrina Caramello Milkshake is best served to someone sitting by the pool, and is a must do for morning tea for the family on school holidays. There is nothing better than caramel and cacao combined with Alexandrina Full Cream Pure Jersey Milk.
ALEXANDRINA CARAMELLO MILKSHAKE
Groundwork – 10 minutes of preparation time
Serves 2
Elements
For the Milkshake
350 ml Alexandrina Pure Jersey Full Cream Milk, chilled
250 g ice
50-60 ml caramel syrup
50-60 g cacao powder
50-60 ml maple syrup *optional
For the Glass Garnish
1-2 Cadbury’s Caramello Koala’s – holidays are for treats! #notsponsored
Technique
place the ice into the blender of choice, pour the Alexandrina Milk on top of the ice, then pour the caramel and maple syrup over the ice, then place the cacao over the other ingredients. Place the lid of the blender on top and blend on a medium setting for 90 seconds. Place the Cadbury’s Caramello Koala’s garnish on the rim of the glass. Immediately afterwards pour the milkshake the into chosen glasses and serve.
